Do black UGG boots fade and go a grey color?
Do black UGG boots fade and go a grey color?
Some people ask Does the color of black UGG boots turns to grey if they are used frequently?
I am thinking about buying Black UGG boots, especially Sundance II, so I wanted to know about wear and tear solutions for the black color. I am going to wear them perhaps twice or thrice a week. Any factual opinions please?
Best Answer: In my opinion, yes. A friend of mine got them earlier and he started to wear black UGG boots at all times. It was about a couple of months when he noticed that the color was changing gradually and is started to fade. Like you stated, if you are going to wear black UGG boots for a couple of times a week, then you might keep them untouched for a longer period of time. Otherwise, get an aftermarket water proof coating spray for this purpose. It is specially manufactured for boots like UGGs. A good alternative would be suede protection which is water proof also.
Other Answer 1: Yes, they do get worn out if you wear black UGG boots on a frequent basis. Get a goof coat of suede protector on it and they will last longer.
Other Answer 2: The black UGG boots are very cool though, but it’s the nature of leather that it loses its shine and color if it is exposed to sheer sunlight and water. If you keep them dry and shelter, they will not fade, even if you wear them frequently.
Other Answer 3: Yes they do get worn out if they are exposed to water. Dirt and mud can’t hamper them.
