How do I tell if Ugg Australia boots are genuine and not copies
Â
Somebody ask that:
I have bought Ugg Australia boots for myself. Now is there any way to say that the Ugg Australia boots are genuine and not copies or fake ones?
Content
I have got two different sets of Ugg boots. Both are black in color. One set has a black furry like inner lining much similar to the ones on the sides, but the other has a pale sheepskin inner sole. Both the sellers say that their Ugg boots are genuine. Also, one set says that they are made in New Zealand; whereas the other set doesn’t! How do I say which is genuine?
Best Answer
The Australian footwear gives a warranty period for one year against manufacturing of any defective materials and workmanship. The other way to test is by slightly dyeing the color of the inner sole. The pale sheepskin might become darker on first few wears, if it is an original product.
Other Answer 1
The sole of the real Ugg boot is flexible enough whereas the fake or a copy will be comparatively rigid and stiff.
Other Answer 2
The sheepskin in the genuine Deckers Ugg is fluffy, thicker with a rich cream color. The fake is made of synthetic ‘fur’ and thinner.
Other Answer 3
The New Zealand boots probably might not be the genuine Australian Ugg boots.
Other Answer 4
See the labels of the ‘Ugg’ on both the sets. If a symbol ‘R’ is contained inside a small circle, then it is a genuine one. If there is no such symbol on either set, then both are copies.
